Though I've always been creative, my tattoo career began in 1997, when I moved to Chicago. I began working at The Tattoo Factory, which is where I completed my apprenticeship while obtaining my Graphic Design degree at Chicago's International Academy of Merchandise and Design. I joined the prestigious staff as a full-time tattoo artist in 1999. I came back to Northeast Wisconsin in December 2000. I've found my home at Steve's Tattoo in Oshkosh, where I'm been proud to be a part of one of the most talented, professional and fun-loving shops in the area. Not to mention that I have a great clientele of kick-ass people.
Outside of the shop, I spend a lot of time doing a variety of artistic tasks. Whether it is drawing up a logo for a new business owner, doing an acrylic or watercolor painting for a friend or designing advertising for local businesses, I'm happy to do anything that expands my knowledge of the art world.
While I admire bold tattoos with an old-school vibe, I love drawing up custom pieces for clients. And though I am a huge fan of color, it's the black and gray pieces that I enjoy doing the most. My goal is to combine exquisite artistry with a focus on good ol' fashioned customer service, so my chair becomes the premier destination for anyone looking to get a little ink done.
Whether you are looking for one small piece or you have grand plans of multiple tattoos in your future, stop by and introduce yourself and let me know how I can help bring your vision to life. And if you don't quite have a vision just yet? I can help you create one.
Because let's face it – you want an awesome tattoo. And you can't spell awesome without me.
